The process of building expansion joints requires a block of time to be set aside for the rubber to cure. The process of curing takes place in an autoclave, a machine providing the correct amount of elevated temperature and pressure needed for the joint to cure properly.

Having 4 autoclaves that allow for rubber expansion joints of various sizes to cure at once is an asset; it speeds up the process of getting them to their destination. As you can see in the photo above, we can fit up to 4 joints ranging in size within one autoclave. Because all autoclaves are fully automated, curing can occur during off hours. Investments in equipment like this allow for increased productivity, and the success of our Quick Ship Program, as we are able to manufacture at a faster rate.
