Norm Mason purchased Mercer Rubber in 1985 and moved the Company to Long Island in 1991. Norm’s desire to improve everything related to Mercer and integrate the Mercer Rubber Co. into Mason Industries was easily achieved, and Mercer became a viable and dynamic entity.

The coronavirus forced the Company’s re-birth, with Engineers as Sales Managers, updated production methods, and an Engineering Department that includes 48 Engineers with professional licenses in all 50 States, New Zealand and Australia, which means greater capability, and our future is brighter than ever. Norm passed away in 2019, and improving Mercer was one of his priorities, and all of that has or is happening as we speak. This updated catalog is an integral part of Mercer’s commitment to excellence. We hope you enjoy the change in presentation as well as the addition of the 900 Series, and all of the other products that have helped Mercer become one of the most diverse fluid handlers in the engineering world.

Change is good, growth is better, and Mercer Rubber is achieving both while maintaining the high standards that Norm lived by. The legacy of excellence continues and we look forward to serving all of our consultant friends and customers now and in the future.
